About Our Career Opportunity

Dr. Ammar Razzak's office, a division of Summit Medical Group, is seeking a Registered Dietician to consult with patients on a prn basis, roughly 1 day every two weeks.

Responsibilities:(List does not include all duties assigned)

The successful candidate will be able to motivate, guide, and facilitate action oriented goals that will bring forth improved personal health outcomes through one on one coaching, and educational classes that empower individuals with evidence-based guidelines for disease management, prevention, tobacco cessation, nutrition, exercise and general wellness. The successful candidate will be expected to create a plan to fit the culture and lifestyle of the participant. Coaching provides strategies that enable participants to make informed decisions about goals, therapeutic options and self-care behaviors creating personal accountability.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Community Health, Psychology, Health Education, Health Promotion, Public Health, or related field.

Licensure/Certification:Must have an active State of TN License or Nationally recognized Certification as one of the following:Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist or Registered Dietitian

Experience: 2-5 years of experience working with, educating, and/or coaching individuals to achieve health or behavior change related outcomes
