Title:Mobile Crisis Team Lead

RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate openings in Mobile Crisis for a Team Lead. Schedule will either be 2pm-10pm or on a rotation between 2pm-10pm shift and 7am-3pm shift.

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, or counseling; LCSW or LPC-MHSP highly preferred.
  • Experience in Crisis Services required.
  • Knowledge of DSM5 criteria and ability to determine preliminary mental health diagnosis required.
  • Management/administrative experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written skills required.
  • The candidate will be expected to obtain Mandatory Prescreening Agent (MPA) designation upon hire; training is provided. A bonus is awarded once the MPA designation has been confirmed.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid TN driver's license and a safe driving record.


Provides assessment of adults experiencing a psychiatric emergency. Determines crisis needs, crisis intervention, telephone consultation, linkage with community resources, and pre-screening admissions of emergency hospital commitments. Follows-up to ensure appropriate service is available. Uses a telehealth system to provide some of these services in various locations. Some travel required to provide service in Ridgeview’s 5-county catchment area using a Ridgeview-provided car. Displays positive interaction and communication with community agencies and other public relations activities. Provides a team leadership role to Mobile Crisis staff. Assists Director of Mobile Crisis with managing day to day functions of the Mobile Crisis Team on an as needed basis. Responsible for management of the Mobile Crisis database. Provides supervisory coverage for the Director on an as needed basis.
