About the Business Line Water We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.
Job Description
Project / Design Manager: 12-15 years experience (15 preferred). Need effective Program/Project Manager with strong organizational skills, capable of overseeing and managing the work of a group of design consultants. His/her activities would range from the upfront program setup activities, preparations for design consultant procurement, preparation of design consultant SOPs and standard specifications, and managing/overseeing the technical quality and deliverables of third party design consultants. Candidates will need to be strong in design engineering and very strong in engineering management skills. This would be a full time role for the life of the program, and party would need to make the Nashville area their home.
Capabilities and experience required in design and construction phase engineering for wet weather overflow abatement (SSO s and CSO s), sewer design, sewer/manhole rehabilitation, pump stations (new and improvement of existing facilities), and related work. Program management experience a plus, as is experience with USEPA Consent Decree driven programs/projects.
Also a plus, if party has capability and experience in additional areas of expertise, such as wastewater treatment and/or water treatment and interest and abilities in business development/project pursuit, to participate in Nashville office business development/project pursuit activities as program management/design task management activities allow for.
Professional engineering registration (PE) required, and ability to obtain engineering registration in TN (if not already registered in TN).
Strong communication and people skills required, as this role includes significant communication responsibilities with other AECOM team members, other consultants and client parties.
