Job Description: Accredo is a leading provider of specialty pharmaceutical services with a national network to provide the best patient care. We specialize in the distribution and clinical management of therapies for chronic pulmonary, respiratory, neurological, and immune disorders.
Primary Responsibilities:
-Maintain overall accountability for client satisfaction with the specialty pharmacy program.
-Serve as the primary Accredo business relationship contact. Manage sales activities in alignment with P&L goals.
-Develop and execute up sell strategies to meet business goals.
-Develop and review quarterly Specialty Opportunity Packages with field account teams and/or clients.
-Achieve financial and other performance metrics (improved performance of client P&L vs. business objectives, client satisfaction based on Voice of Customer surveys, client retention strategies, margin growth recommendations, etc.) -Provide overall guidance to internal Medco account teams regarding the specialty pharmacy program.
-Develop and execute a sales strategy by developing new and expanding on existing client relationships, becoming a trusted advisor, and provide consultative services that result in a win-win end result.
-Assist or develop marketing and sales strategies to add value or fulfill a gap in customer needs (identified in the Voice of the Customer survey).
-Develop, provide oversight, and monitor success of specialty programs for clients within book-of-business.
-Large coverage area and no specific home base is required. (Position requires 50% travel)
Qualifications: Required Education and Experience: College degree required and 6+ years client related experience. Comprehensive business understanding of the broader health care system, not just in the specialty space. Previous management and cross-functional experience is required.
