Job: RP Lab Finisher

JOB SUMMARY:
The RP Lab Finisher is responsible for cleaning, finishing and painting SLA models/parts while maintaining 3D Systems quality standards.

PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS:

* Responsible for aspects of on-site SLA part production, including, but not limited to:
* Performing visual checks on running RP machines
* Removing models and platforms when builds are complete
* Washing of platforms, washing and curing of parts
* Completing desired finish level on models, including assembly, UV welding and painting as required
* Documenting required build and inspection information
* Cleaning machines and general lab housekeeping
* Other duties as assigned by supervisor

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Training:
High school diploma or equivalent

Requirements:

* High level of attention to detail and neatness is required
* Ability to follow detailed verbal, written, and visual instructions
* Sense of urgency as projects are time sensitive
* Experience working in a lab setting a plus
* Painting (air spray gun and airbrush) experience
* Basic working ability in a 3D CAD package highly desirable

WORKING ENVIRONMENT /PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

* Moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently
* Low to moderate powered lasers are utilized in the working environment
* Position requires exposure to a variety of materials used in 3D Systems SLA Systems as well as the materials used to clean and prepare the parts for use, including but not limited to, liquid resins and cleaning solvents
