Mechanical/Electrical Engineer Job Description:

Aerotek is currently looking for a candidate that has a BS or MS in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Qualified candidate will have at least 5 years engineering experience with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude as well as experience with heat exchange (NO HVAC). Candidate must have experience with boilers, valve sizing, pump sizing, SolidWorks, PLC programming, and Ladder Logic.

The candidate will be responsible for:
-sales support of boiler products by designing systems, creating drawings and bill of materials, and organizing/communicating drawings to customers.
-Creating/modifying designs for boilers and pressure vessels
-Effectively support the management team to achieve company goals
-Use structured decision making processes and financial analysis tools supporting a culture of process improvement
-Produce designs which comply with engineering principles, ASME and NEC code, safety, and customer requirements, as well as company standards
-Assist other departments in developing new products/options, service by answering inquiries, purchasing by approving alternate sources or deviations, manufacturing by helping to improve process, reduce scrap, and improve productivity
