Linc Facility Services, a division of ABM, is a global provider of integrated facility management services, technical operations and maintenance (O&M), and other facility services. We have an immediate opening for an experienced Facility Manager within a critical data center environment in the Nashville, TN area. QUALIFICATIONS: Possess a minimum of 3 yrs of recent facilities maintenance experience in building equipment systems for office/warehouse/data center facility; to include operations, preventative maintenance, subcontract management, HVAC, chiller operations, refrigeration systems, electrical, generator maintenance, UPS Systems operations & maintenance, water treatment, fire alarm, energy management and quality control systems/functions. BS preferred. Possess strong communication & organizational skills, with working knowledge of PC skills. Minimum of 5+ yrs management experience. Must have proven experience in facility maintenance management, managing budgets, and full knowledge of business operations. Should be highly motivated, self disciplined, with a passion for outstanding customer service, comfortable in fast paced environments. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following: Maintenance inspections and routine operations on critical building systems, to ensure 24 hr continuous operation. Manages, plans, directs, coordinates and supervises operation and maintenance activities to ensure that project requirements are accomplished within prescribed response time frames, quality control and budget. Manages project/facility operations and plans to ensure compliance, allotment of resources, and familiarity of storage procedures. Develops and manages a preventative maintenance work plan/schedule for each system, using a central maintenance management system, to include minor scheduled and unscheduled service order work, through in-house capability or subcontract venders. Coordinates and manages subcontracts to perform warranty and maintenance activities, to include negotiating subcontract agreements, oversight, quality control, pay submittals, and evaluations. Prepares status reports and modifies schedules or plans as required. Prepares project reports for management, customer and others. Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems. Coordinates project activities with government COR, customers and other governmental oversight agencies. Maintains a purchase order system to track project costs and job profitability, coordinating weekly with the accounting department to ensure all project costs are considered. Ability to be proactive, bring forth ideas, attention to detail, quality and quantity of work are critical. Maintain 100% up-time to data center and all systems and equipment. Perform manager on-call duties to support technicians. Develop critical operating procedures for various facilities equipment. Ability to work in a team environment, as well as on your own with limited oversight but remain productive. Proven track record of team building and effectively managing personnel. Ability to manage a consistent training program. Other duties may be assigned.
