The Solutions Designer for Optimized Care is responsible for assisting in the creation and/or strengthening of the project charter and the design document; refining the design definition; finalizing the product's value proposition, intervention focus, population targeting and tailoring requirements. Protects the solution's integrity by verifying operational readiness, market/customer messaging and adherence to legal/regulatory or accreditation requirements.

Role Profile/Key Responsibilities:

* Creates high-level design and supports the implementation of new products to support the strategic objectives of the company
* Researches customer needs and competitor offerings to identify new product opportunities
* Defines new product requirements and specifications
* Coordinates cross-functional efforts to ensure successful and profitable implementation of new products
* May support pilot programs to introduce new products into the marketplace
* Assists with the creation and delivery of product training for Sales and Marketing
* Collaborates with business owners to validate requirements and interpret/analyze product performance against design
* Facilitates new system design using past experience and knowledge of products
* Participates in clinical-based research conducted by other areas of the organization

Qualifications

1. BSN or RN with extensive relevant experience required; other graduate and/or post-graduate degree preferred
2. Extensive experience with the senior population either in a managed care plan, with CMS, or in a clinical setting strongly preferred. Experience designing health management programs for the senior population is ideal.
3. Direct patient interaction and practical application experience for 3+ years required, Geriatric experience preferred.
4. 5 years of clinical health-care related experience preferred
5. Minimum 5 years product development experience with at least 3 years of design preferred
6. Experience working directly with clients introducing new products or new concepts
7. Previous experience authoring business requirements documentation preferred
