Ordnance Systems Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of BAE SYSTEMS INC, invites the following professional to join our team at the Holston Army Ammunition Plant (HSAAP) in Kingsport, TN.

Job Summary
Develop or oversee the development of programs to control a wide variety of chemical, mechanical and electrical processes.

Job Responsibilities Included but not limited to:
? Design and integration of hardware and software in the implementation of process controls using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC?s), Human Machine Interfaces (HMI?s), process networks, and server/client networked applications
? Evaluate new and existing control programs for improvement opportunities
? Evaluate control system?s technical documents for accuracy and veracity
? Provide software development expertise for projects and operations, including oversight of contract programmers and technicians
? Provide engineering and technical support to OSI projects, manufacturing, and business functions as needed
? Participate in Hazard Analyses of both new and existing processes
? Assist in the development of operational control documents (e.g. Standard Operating Procedures)and training plans for operations personnel
? Interact with engineering contractor and systems integrators to ensure the installed control systems are adequate for projects goals.

Required :

Required is an Associates Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 10 years of experience.

Preferred :
Preferred is a Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering with 3 to 5 years of related experience. Experience in chemical production control is a plus.
