We have an field Sales Representative position available that is based in the Nashville, TN area. The position is responsible for building customer relationships from prospecting to closing to post sales support for generating new business and expanding on existing business within the commercial, construction, contractor, and services markets. The desired background for this position includes:

Job Functions:

* Compiles lists of prospective customers from various sources for use as sales leads.
* Establishes a customer base in which to promote and solicit new and on-going business.
* Calls on regular and prospective customers by phone or by traveling throughout assigned territory to solicit orders and close sales.
* Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
* Quote prices, contract terms, estimated delivery date, and credit terms.
* Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
* Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
* Maintain accurate reports and database records of customer contacts/activities and transactions.
* Provides technical sales assistance for power and temperature applications using job related manuals.

Job Qualifications:

* Bachelor s degree
* Related experience or an equivalent education and experience combination
* PC literacy in a Microsoft environment, customer relations systems experience a plus
* 5-7 years of previous sales experience, preferably in service type of commodity.
