84 Lumber is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Sales Representative for the Chattanooga/Knoxville, TN area. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with jobs such as large apartment buildings, hotels, restaurants, assisted living facilities, etc
Responsibilities:
* Sell Lumber and Building Materials
* Create materials estimates
* Blueprint take-offs
* Travel to job sites
* Service and develop customer relations
* Build strong Vendor relationships
* Create Special Orders
Required Skills
* Ability to lift building materials. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and government regulations; write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Required Experience
* High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
* 5 years experience in commercial construction sales
* Ability to fluently read and interpret blueprints.
* Industry contacts preferred.
