Primary Responsibilities:


  • Receive and review all correspondence daily from the home office

  • Follow up on assigned insurance accounts .

  • Take incoming calls from patients needing assistance.

  • Assist all hospital employees with any needs that arise.

  • Make outgoing insurance calls on Ingram accounts.

  • Review and document return mail.

  • Act as an on-site liaison between Ingram and Associates and the hospital ; Notify Management of any issues or concerns that may arise.


This position will be in office at 1720 General George Patton Drive Brentwood TN 37027.


This function is responsible for insurance premium collections. Positions in this function contact customers to determine reason for payment delinquency. Negotiate and advise on collection of overdue bills and take appropriate action to recover overdue payments. Handles unresolved inquiries/issues. Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and managing organization policies on collection practices. May work with outside legal counsel and/or outside agencies in more complex collection cases.

  • Works on simple tasks using established procedures.

  • Depends on others for guidance.

  • Work is typically reviewed by others.

Skills / Requirements


Requirements:


  • High school diploma/GED

  • MS Office basic proficiency

  • Exposure to the acquiring and/or managing of data to support a project.

  • Customer service experience.



Assets:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • A background in a medical/healthcare setting.

  • Direct healthcare data collection experience.
