Job Description Position can be based in an office in the following states: Georgia,North Carolina,and Tennessee.
RESPONSIBILITES:
-Account managers work closely with their assigned Account Executives to develop and maintain favorable relationships with customers and consultants.
-Managing a book of business and assisting in growing that book of business are the top priorities.
-Account managers are responsible for building successful and effective working relationships both externally with customers as well as internally with business areas and peers.
-A successful account manager must be able to communicate and present information to audiences at all levels, both internally and externally, especially during open enrollment season.
-Account managers may serve as project manager and participate on selected projects, including but not limited to implementations of any new products.
-Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, professionalism, activity, responsiveness, and ability to anticipate and understand customer needs are additional requirements.
-A successful candidate will preferably have previous account management experience, background in healthcare, HR benefits, customer service, claims, plan sponsor services and/or underwriting. We are searching for a strong team player, adept at handling multiple assignments and responsibilities simultaneously.
-Some travel required, mostly local.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
-Life & Health license desired. If you do not currently hold a Life & Health insurance license you will be required to obtain within 90 days of your start date.
FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES:
-Sales & Service/Account Management/4-6 Years.
- Experience with the MS office products.

-We are looking for a high energy, motivated Account Manager to join our Aetna National Accounts sales team in the Alpharetta, GA office. This is a full time position with opportunity for bonus in addition to a competitive base salary. We are looking for a professional candidate with 4-6 years experience in managing complex customer relationships.
